The 36 participants represented a wide range of professions and disciplines including physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physical therapists and social workers. 
The AGES program is a certification course that increases the competency of all health professionals who care for and/or work with older adults. The overall goal of AGES is to promote excellence in the practic, teaching and care of older adults and extend the understanding of aging; while strengthening the professional skills of health professionals who work with older adults.
