Alltop named chief administrative officer for the School of Medicine

 

Jeremy Alltop, a senior financial and administrative executive with Indiana University’s School of Medicine, has been chosen to serve as the chief administrative officer for the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He fills the position formerly held by Sarah Woodrum, Dr.PH.

Alltop joined the organization on December 14 and will oversee the administrative functions of the School of Medicine including strategic planning, development, marketing and communications, facilities, special projects and general operations.

Alltop most recently served as associate chief financial officer for the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind., where he provided strategic and operational leadership for the school. Prior to that, he was associate dean of Administration and Finance for the University of Kentucky’s College of Dentistry and chief financial officer for the Ohio State University’s Student Health Services.

He received a Master of Science in Business Administration/Public Administration from Central Michigan University in Columbus, Ohio and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.
