Annual Bravo! award winners announced
WVU Healthcare celebrated its fourth annual Bravo! Awards Ceremony: Celebrating Excellence on May 28.
The awards celebrate the many extraordinary accomplishments of WVU Healthcare employees in 2014. These individuals and teams helped to create a stronger and more successful organization, one focused on excellence.
Employees were recognized in these categories:
- Bravo! winners who were selected by their peers
- Top performance improvement teams
- Highest performing units/clinics, based on Press-Ganey scores
- Top providers, based on Press-Ganey (top three percentile) and CG-CAHPS/HCAPHS scores
Two special awards were also presented: Forces of Magnetism Award and Presidential Leadership Award.
WVUH President and CEO Albert Wright was the emcee, and awards were presented by Chief Medical Officer Judie Charlton, MD; Chief Experience Officer Todd Crocco, MD; and Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Dottie Oakes.
They shared the stories associated with nominations as they handed out the awards.
