Biostatistics Student Presents Research at National Meeting

Yohannes Gebremariam
, a second-year MPH student in the Department of Biostatistics, was recently involved in the presentation of two studies at the American Heart Association Cardiovascular Disease, Epidemiology and Prevention/Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Metabolism Spring 2013 Scientific Sessions, New Orleans, LA, held in March 2013.  Yohannes’ research focused on lipid levels among children in the CARDIAC project, and he was mentored by Department of Biostatistics Assistant Professor Dr. Christa Lilly.  Yohannes has worked this past year with Dr. Lilly on numerous studies from CARDIAC as well as other obesity prevention research.  The two presentation citations are below.
