WVU Cancer Institute offering tours of new Bonnie’s Bus at HSC on Wednesday

Employees are encouraged to check out the new Bonnie’s Bus on Wednesday, June 28.

The coach-style bus, equipped with state-of-the-art 3D mammography, will be parked outside of the first-floor entrance to the WVU Health Sciences Center and will be available for tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bonnie's Bus travels throughout the state, providing mammograms to women with limited access to mammography services. Since the program began in 2009, nearly 14,000 screening mammograms have been provided, and 62 cases of breast cancer have been detected.
