Cards of Hope Auction

Event Date: 10/29/2016

Event Location: Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa, 1 Lakeview Dr, Morgantown, WV 26508

Tickets are available now for the 25th annual Cards of Hope™ Fall Art Auction, to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa in Morgantown.

Festivities include a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m., a live auction of original Cards of Hope artwork, and a DJ for dancing. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Children are invited to come in costume and receive treats.

Cards of Hope are greeting cards designed by WVU Medicine Children’s cancer patients, survivors, and their siblings. Proceeds from the Fall Art Auction support the Cure Kids Cancer Fund, which, along with proceeds from the greeting cards, ensures patients and families receive state-of-the-art medical care through the Children’s Oncology Group, as well as psychological and social support. Services supported by the Fund include offering gas cards and hospital cafeteria meal coupons to patients’ families and providing snacks and drinks for patients receiving treatment in the WVU Medicine Children’s Infusion Center, as well as supporting the Beads of Courage program.

Cards of Hope artists and their families will be invited guests at the event. All artists will be presented with a framed copy of their artwork and receive a packet of their cards.
