CEOD offering new courses focused on research and evidence-based practice

The WVU Medicine Center for Education and Organizational Development (CEOD) is offering courses focused on research and evidence-based practice.

“Introduction to Research and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP)” is being offered Monday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. at the WVU Medicine Operations Support Center, CEOD Training Room 1.

This is an interactive training for clinical staff interested in EBP, quality improvement, and/or research. Participants must complete the Nursing Research and EBP CBL prior to attending the course.

“Basic Library Search” is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 16, from 1:30-3 p.m. at the HSC Library.

This course is for those that are unfamiliar and/or need a refresher on library search strategies. It offers an overview on article searching using various databases.
