Cheat Lake Physicians wins statewide award for up-to-date immunizations

The Cheat Lake Physicians Pediatrics Department recently won the 2015 Screen Shot Award, which recognizes excellence in utilizing the West Virginia Statewide Immunization Information System (WVSIIS).

Clinic Manager Jodi Jones, R.N., said Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Holly Peet was instrumental in Cheat Lake Physicians receiving the award.

“Holly helps with all the vaccine ordering and chart audits that we go through for the Vaccine for Children (VFC) Program,” Jones explained. “All of the nurses are really good about making sure patients’ shots are up to date.”
