Chestnut Ridge parking, Ruby loading dock affected by construction

Beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, through midnight Saturday, Sept. 19, parking at Ruby Memorial’s loading dock area and Chestnut Ridge Center will be limited to accommodate installation of new emergency generators.

The generators. part of the southeast tower project, will be delivered and placed into their permanent location in Ruby’s new central energy plant. The plant is being constructed in an area between Ruby’s loading docks and Chestnut Ridge Center. 

This work will require the movement to the site of a very large tractor trailer carrying the generators, as well as a 200-ton crane. 

The vehicles delivering the equipment will follow this path.
