Cigarette smokers and tobacco users needed for research studies

WVU Department of Psychology Assistant Professor Melissa Blank, Ph.D., is conducting two research studies. Participants are needed for both.

One study is recruiting people, ages 18-60, who currently smoke cigarettes and also use smokeless or oral tobacco products. The two-week research study will examine the daily patterns of concurrent use of these tobacco products.

A second study is open to people, ages 18-60, who currently smoke cigarettes and are thinking about quitting. The four-week research study will examine the influence of electronic cigarettes on smoking cessation.

Individuals who complete these studies will be compensated. For more information, call Dr. Blank’s laboratory at (304) 293-0551, or email Nick (njfelicione@mix.wvu.edu) or Jenny (jeozga@mix.wvu.edu).
