CME course to focus on humanistic culture in health professions

The Health Sciences Center Faculty Development Program is offering an hour-long session promoting humanistic culture in health professions at noon on Thursday, Dec. 7 in HSC G285C.

After completing the program, participants should be able to:

  • Characterize humanistic culture and environments
  • Relate WVU values to humanistic teaching, learning and patient care environments
  • Identify strategies to promote a humanistic culture

The session is free and open to all WVU faculty. Those interested should contact Trisha Hussing at 304-293-1979 or phussing@hsc.wvu.edu to register or. Lunch will be provided to those who register by noon on Thursday, Nov. 30.
