Colorectal Cancer Summit to be held in Beckley on Aug. 30

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in West Virginia. Mountains of Hope, West Virginia’s statewide cancer coalition facilitated by the WVU Cancer Institute's Cancer Prevention and Control group, invites faculty and staff to join local and national experts to discuss ways to increase colorectal screenings in the state.

Mountains of Hope is hosting a regional Colorectal Cancer Summit in Beckley, at the Tamarack Conference Center, on Wednesday, Aug. 30. A similar event was held in Fairmont in June.
