Program ACTIVE - Appalachians Coming Together to Increase Vital Exercise
Are you...an adult with Type 2 Diabetes?
Have you been...feeling depressed for two weeks or longer? Does depression get in the way of work or home life?
Would you like to...feel less depressed and healthier?
Participants will be assigned to one of our four treatment groups:
• Exercise, Talk Therapy, Talk Therapy + Exercise, or Usual Care.
• The actual group assignment is purely by chance.
• The treatment period is 12 weeks with follow-up assessment conducted after 5 months and one year.

Free Land and Water Exercise!
Dr. Paul Chantler is seeking participants to participate in either a land or water-based exercise program lasting 8 weeks. In addition, eligible participants will receive $50 upon completion of the study.

Restless Legs Research Study
Needed! Individuals with restless or unpleasant feelings in their legs at night or at rest that are relieved by movement. We are studying the possible benefits of yoga vs. an educational film program for reducing symptoms of restless legs syndrome. Participants will attend up to 2 classes per week in Morgantown for 12 weeks. Study also involves 2 visits to WVU to complete questionnaires.
Compensation is $150 upon completion of this research study.
