Conference on June 10 available for perioperative and perianesthesia nurses

The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) of North Central WV and the West Virginia Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (WVASPAN) are teaming together for an educational conference and vendor fair. The sixth annual event is set for 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, in the Hostler Auditorium at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

With a focus on caring for trauma patients, the event will provide trauma credits. WVU Hospitals will provide 4.0 contact hours to those who attend and complete all activities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend a vendor fair featuring both medical and non-medical vendors. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Basket raffles and door prizes will round out the day.
