Deadline extended for Take Your Child to Work Day registration

WVU Medicine is participating in Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 28.

An event will be held at Erickson Alumni Center from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. featuring speakers from various hospital departments and activities. Lunch will be provided for the children. The event is for WVUH and UHA employees only.

Parents may drop off their children from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and pick them up between 12:15-12:30 p.m. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Alumni Center.

Children may return to work with their parent for the remainder of the day if they have approval from their director.

It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that all required forms from their child’s school are completed.

Minimum age to participate is seven years old and children up to age 12 are recommended.
