Debut of WVU Medicine's Community Conversation set for Aug. 4

Join WVU Medicine physicians Cristina Pastuch, M.D., and Kristen Moore, M.D., for a Community Conversation: Back-to-School Health Thursday, Aug. 4, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the WVU Medicine University Town Centre.

The free, educational seminar is the first in a series of events designed to generate discussion and community involvement.

Dr. Pastuch and Dr. Moore will answer questions and discuss a variety of health issues that focus on back-to-school health.

Some issues that will be addressed are:

  •     Anxiety and stress
  •     Bullying
  •     Immunizations
  •     Physical activity
  •     Nutrition
  •     Sleep and schedule changes
  •     Screen time
  •     Developmental and behavioral readiness
