Delta Omega Poster Competition winners announced
The Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Omega at West Virginia University’s School of Public Health congratulates the winners of our 6th Annual Gamma Mu Student Poster Competition: Raihan Khan for our graduate category winner and Jasmine Johnson for our undergraduate category winner.
Raihan Khan is a PhD student and won for his poster titled, “Association of Diabetes Distress and Glycemic Control among Individuals with Type 2 Diabetes.” Jasmine Johnson is an undergraduate student who won for her poster, “Effects of Racial Identity on School Connectedness.”
The overall winner of each category will represent our Chapter and School at the National Delta Omega Poster Contest at the 2018 Annual American Public Health Association (APHA) meeting and will receive a $500 travel award.
