Disaster drill underway

On Thursday, Nov. 17, WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals will hold full-scale disaster drill involving a mock Ebola patient being admitted to the Infection Protection Containment Unit (also known as the ER Vertical Care Unit) at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. The drill will take place from 6 a.m.- 2 p.m.

LiveProcess will be activated and tested as part of the drill. Employees will receive a LiveProcess notification on the devices they have listed as preferences.

Please reassure patients who happen to witness the drill that it's only a drill – one that will help prepare the organization should an actual disaster occur in the future.
