Dominion Post - More STDs Seen - Agency Hopes to Raise Awareness

Dominion Post - Board member Gilbert Ramirez said students at WVU’s School of Public Health could help by studying specific health indicators — such as the number of STDs reported — so the health department has a better idea of what the county’s needs are. He is looking into the possibility. Ramirez is a senior associate dean for academic affairs and educational effectiveness for WVU’s School of Public Health.
