Employees invited to share Morgantown Marathon photos

Are you participating in the WVU Medicine Morgantown Marathon – as a runner, volunteer, or spectator? Share your photos on social media! Tag the WVU Medicine Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts, and WVU Medicine may share your photos.

The marathon events kick off with the Family Fun Run/Walk at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Monongalia County Ballpark. There will also be family-friendly activities, a video presentation, and entertainment.

Packet pick-up and the marathon’s Health and Wellness Expo will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center. It’s free and open to everyone.

Races take place Saturday, Sept. 23. The marathon begins at 7 a.m., while the half marathon starts at 7:15 a.m. The Mountain Mama 8K kicks off at 7:30 a.m.

All of these events are great opportunities to take photos and share them!
