Epidemiology student offered competitive internship

MPH Candidate Chelsey George has been offered an internship with the Center for Disease Control. The CDC Summer Graduate Environmental Health Internship (GEH) is a highly competitive 9-week internship designed to give students an overview of environmental health at the federal level. Only two students are selected for this internship each summer.

In addition to be selected for this prestigious internship, Chelsey was oral presenter at Van Liere Research Day in March and will have a poster presentation at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Session this June. Congratulations to Chelsey and a special thanks to her faculty advisor, Dr. Baqiyyah Conway, for her contributions!
