Eye Institute offering contact lens fittings to employees

WVU Medicine's Eye Institute is now offering contact lens fittings to WVU Medicine and Health Sciences Center employees. Appointments will be available Monday and Friday afternoons.

Patients will need a routine eye exam, or they can bring a current prescription. Payment is required at time of service. The costs are as follows.

Price ranges

  • Routine eye exam: $99
  • Routine eye exam with contact lens fitting for new patient: $159-184
  • Routine eye exam with contact lens fitting for returning patient: $134-159
  • Contact lens fitting only for new patient: $60, spherical fit; $85, special fit (toric or multifocal lenses)
  • Contact lens fitting only for returning patient: $35, spherical fit; $60, special fit (toric or multifocal lenses)
