Faculty invited to Climbing the Research Mountain workshop

West Virginia University faculty, particularly those in the first three years of their appointment, are encouraged to attend the "Climbing the Research Mountain without Falling: What Equipment Do I Need?" workshop from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday (Nov. 4) in Room 120 of the Advanced Engineering Research Building.

The workshop includes an information session from 10 a.m.-noon followed by lunch.

The goal is to inform new(er) faculty on the infrastructure available to support research programs and to promote success in securing and sustaining external funding. Participants will learn strategies for how to build a successful research program and what supports they need to launch (enhance) a successful career at WVU.
