FAIRMONT RAPID HEALTH IMPACT ASSESSMENT FINAL REPORT RELEASED

The final Fairmont Rapid HIA (Health Impact Assessment) report completed by the Health Research Center (HRC) within the  School of Public Health at WVU was presented to a working group of the City of Fairmont Planning Commission on August 20, 2014. 

The HRC team members include; Christiaan Abildso, PhD, MPH; Tom Bias, PhD; Jessica Coffman, MA; and Emily Vasile, MPAff.

This Health Impact Assessment was the first funded assessment in West Virginia.  It was sponsored by the Association for State and Territorial Health Officials and the Center for Disease Control.
