The workshop will include a demonstration of healthy food with recipes; a physical activity to benefit health and self-management of diabetes, presented by Mindy Mall, WVU Extension nutrition outreach instructor; and a presentation by Sarah Rice, St. Joseph’s Hospital dietitian, on living well with diabetes.
The workshop is open to those with diabetes or those who cook for individuals with diabetes. The series will continue on April 12, 19, and 26 with a follow-up session scheduled for July 5.
