Friends Gift Shop to host grand opening and tailgate party

Friends Gift Shop will host a grand opening and tailgate party from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, in its new location on the first floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital, adjacent to the lobby.
From 3:30-7 p.m., there will be a book signing with Caitlin Barber, author of "'Twas the Night Before Game Day." A children's book for mini Mountaineer fans, the story shares the passion and love West Virginians have for WVU and its football program.
There will be free tailgate food, special sales and giveaways. Monti Bear will also be at the event.
