Friends to host garden party May 7
Want to create your own miniature garden and support a good cause?
Attend the Friends of WVU Hospitals’ garden party at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Atria's, 1188 Pineview Dr., Morgantown.
Tickets are $50 for adults. They’re $10 for children age 10 and under, with the purchase of an adult ticket. All proceeds will benefit patient care and comfort initiatives at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Adult ticket holders will be provided with a garden container (or they can bring their own), soil, two plants and one figurine. Attendees can also purchase items to personalize their garden.
The event will include refreshments, as well as a silent auction and raffles.
Don’t forget to wear your favorite garden party hat. A prize will be awarded for the best hat.
