Gloves, food/drink vouchers available to employees

Because of you, WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals was recently ranked the sixth top academic medical center out of more than 200 participating organizations in a national study of major academic medical centers and community hospitals. WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals received Vizient’s 2016 Bernard A. Birnbaum, M.D., Quality Leadership Award. This award shows the dedication of faculty and staff to high-quality, patient-centered care.

As a small token of appreciation for your efforts, leaders passed out gloves to employees at campus entrances/exits late last month. If you missed out on the distribution, don’t fret – gloves are still available.

Employees who work on campus can pick up their gloves at the Resource Pool, located on the fourth floor of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Gloves for individuals or an entire department can be picked up.

For those working off campus in the Morgantown area, the gloves will be delivered to those locations soon.

In addition to the gloves, all employees will be receiving a $5 food/drink voucher for use at the Ruby Cafeteria, Ruby on the Run, and Ruby Starbucks. The vouchers will be delivered soon through the departments.
