Hannah Hazard elected into Gold Humanism Honor Society
WVU Department of Surgery Associate Professor Hannah Hazard, M.D., was elected to membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society this month. The society honors role models for humanistic and compassionate care. It recognizes students, residents and faculty who practice patient-centered care and exhibit the qualities of integrity, excellence, compassion, altruism, respect and empathy.
Dr. Hazard is associate chair for cancer service in the Department of Surgery and is medical director of the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
