Healthcare providers needed for focus group

The WVU Division of Occupational Therapy and Division of Design and Merchandising are recruiting healthcare providers – nurses, doctors, therapists, medical laboratory staff, pharmacists, dentists, office managers, aides – to participate in a focus group. Research will focus on the environmental impacts on healthcare participation in rural communities.

The focus group is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, in Health Sciences Center room 1205, the Occupational Therapy Lab. During the two-hour focus group, participants will be encouraged to discuss the concept of participation and will complete a virtual walkthrough of their facilities to identify barriers or other deterrents.
