Help available with health insurance
Information and enrollment event is Nov. 17
Morgantown, W.Va. – Individuals and families who need assistance understanding health insurance options and applying for coverage are invited to meet with a healthcare navigator between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Monongalia County Health Department, 453 Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown.
Healthcare navigators and certified applications counselors from WVU’s Healthy Start Navigator Project will be on-site to offer free one-on-one assistance. They can answer questions and assist with insurance sign-up under the Affordable Care Act. They are also able to assist people who want to renew or change a current Marketplace Health Plan.
