Update: Two processes for providers to be upgraded
Dragon, a software application for dictation and voice command used by WVU Medicine providers, will be replaced with M*Modal Fluency Direct, a similar system, effective March 31.
WVU Medicine Information Technology has provided a brochure and a list of commands to train future M*Modal users.
Also, Horizon Patient Folder (HPF) which is used to scan documentation so it is accessible through Epic, will be upgraded on March 31 and April 1.
The upgrade will offer performance improvements, security enhancements, and a streamlined interface. The look and feel of the system will change slightly, but the system will primarily function the same as before.
