Huggins’ run ends in Final Four; Michigan’s Beilein wins Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge
For the second straight year, Michigan men’s basketball coach John Beilein won the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge as WVU’s Bob Huggins finished in the top four.
The fan-voting contest featured a field of 48 coaches. Voting ended last week. Beilein, the former coach at WVU, was awarded $100,000 to benefit the charity of the Chad Tough Foundation, which seeks to cure pediatric brain cancer.
Huggins won $15,000 for research at the WVU Cancer Institute. He will donate his prize money to the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Endowment Fund.
