Individuals and groups invited to decorate wreaths for holiday auction

Interested in decorating a wreath for the 2015 Rosenbaum Family House holiday wreath auction? Complimentary artificial pine wreaths are available for individuals or groups to decorate.

Pick up a wreath from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, through Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the Family House front desk. Pick-up is also available from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the WVU Medicine Volunteer Services Office, located on the first floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Decorated wreaths are due by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. To maintain consistency, a minimum market value of $25 is recommended.

The decorated wreaths will be displayed on Family House guest room doors until the auction, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Ruby cafeteria. All winning bids must be settled by cash, check or credit card before 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18.

The Family House Board of Advisors will judge the wreaths, and prizes will be awarded to the most original, most whimsical and best overall design. Winners will be announced Wednesday, Dec. 16.
