Informational sessional on creating a healthy space for patients set for Wednesday

WVU Healthcare is collaborating on a research project about healing environments with the Samueli Institute, an organization dedicated to advancing the science of healing.

During the week of April 13, representatives from the Samueli Institute will be at Ruby Memorial Hospital (10 East and 10 West) gathering data from patient interviews and observations of patient care areas.

On Wednesday, April 15, the institute will host an informational session for faculty and staff on creating a healthy space for patients. The session will take place from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Conference Rooms 3A/3B, located on the fourth floor of Ruby Memorial. Continuing education credit (1 contact hour) will be availableto attendees.
