Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk happening Oct. 24

The American Cancer Society will hold its Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event Saturday, Oct. 24, at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park in Morgantown. Registration begins at 9 a.m., while the walk starts at 10 a.m.

The Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center is serving as a sponsor. The event celebrates people who have battled breast cancer and raises awareness about prevention. It also raises money to help find a cure and to support programs and services.
