Meador named Dentistry associate dean for clinical education and patient care

WVU School of Dentistry Interim Dean Anthony Thomas Borgia, D.D.S., M.H.A., has announced that Associate Professor Michael Meador, D.D.S., has been appointed to the position of interim associate dean for clinical education and patient care. He is filling the position left vacant almost two years ago that was created by Jack Yorty’s departure.

"Dr. Meador has a great deal of experience in clinical management and is already well known throughout the School," Dr. Borgia said. "He will begin to reshape some of the policies and procedures to make our clinics more efficient and improve patient care delivery."

Dr. Meador’s position as a team leader of the Orange Team for third- and fourth-year students will now be assumed by Assistant Clinical Professor Frank Mastalerz, D.D.S.
