Morgantown Marathon events could affect employees’ commutes Saturday, Sunday

Road closures during this weekend’s Morgantown Marathon events could affect commutes for employees who work Saturday and Sunday.

The Mountain Mama 8K takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in Evansdale. Road closures will begin at 6 a.m.

The half marathon and full marathon start at 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, but road closures begin at 4 a.m. The half marathon loops through Evansdale, while the full marathon covers many Morgantown neighborhoods.
