New HSC contacts for diversity, social justice, immigration and export control

Effective immediately, Grace Boyles in the Vice President’s Office will be the primary Health Sciences Center contact for questions related to ensuring that all schools are in compliance with University and external requirements to promote diversity and social justice in faculty hiring. She can be contacted at geboyles@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-293-1291. Boyles will work with the WVU Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on these issues.

The HSC Human Resources Office will continue to provide assistance and handle paperwork related to social justice compliance for classified, nonclassified and faculty-equivalent hiring. Kimberly Kelley is the contact at kkelley@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-293-4103.

Departments needing assistance with immigration issues related to international students, faculty hires or others coming to WVU should contact Ritu Dhungana at rdhungan@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-581-1820 in the  HSC Global Engagement Office. This office will also be the HSC’s primary resource for compliance with U.S. export control regulations when planning international travel.
