Microsoft Excel 2010 – Foundation

- Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 12:30-4 p.m.
Microsoft Excel is a powerful and easy-to-use spreadsheet program. Excel is a popular tool for creating spreadsheets, analyzing data, and charting information. It incorporates a number of tools to help users enter and analyze data quickly and efficiently.
This foundation level course is designed for participants who have little or no experience with Excel 2010 software. The class will cover the following basic software skills: Excel interface overview; workbooks and worksheets; basic formulas; worksheet formatting; creating charts; and printing and viewing workbooks.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
- Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 12:30-4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 12:30-4 p.m.
This course will explore time-saving features that many everyday PowerPoint users don’t take advantage of, including file management tools and options that will help you create an engaging, professional presentation. Highlights of the course include information on file management tools; research features; themes and backgrounds; transitions; animations; all types of graphics (including shapes, tables, charts, SmartArt, pictures, clip art, photo albums and screenshots); and some exciting new photo editing tools.
