Students and faculty are getting a new food option on the medical campus at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.

The Market, the new caf located in the Health Sciences Center, will be changing out EiO & the Hive Restaurant and will be opening Panini Pete’s after Thanksgiving of this year. The change comes after seeing the strong interests for an extended menu featuring salads, sandwiches, and soups.

“The menu will offer a wider-range of affordable options while also featuring the increasing demand for salads,” said Dan Simpson, managing partner with Fresh Hospitality.

Panini Pete’s will also be featuring fresh coffee and juices. The changeover process will start the week November 21st and be complete by the time students, faculty and staff come back from Thanksgiving break.

With the addition of Panini Pete’s, the current restaurants in the Market, Hugh Baby’s and Little Donkey, will be adding breakfast items to their menus, giving customers multiple options for every meal of the day.
