New WVU Healthcare primary clinic to open by fall

A new WVU Healthcare clinic, offering adult and pediatric primary care, will open in late summer or early fall near the Wal-Mart Super Center located off of the Grafton Road exit of I-68.

Called “WVU Healthcare Morgantown South,” the practice will be owned and operated by UHA and features 10 exam rooms and one procedure room.

Cristina Pastuch, MD, who currently serves as the chief resident in the WVU Department of Pediatrics, will be the first provider at this location. Dr. Pastuch, a native of Fairmont, earned her medical degree from the WVU School of Medicine and completed a combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency at WVU. She will treat adult and pediatric patients.

In the coming months, the plan is to hire three additional primary care physicians to staff the practice.
