Nurses asked to complete questionnaire about interactions with military veterans

Researchers from the WVU School of Nursing and WVU Medicine are asking WVU Medicine nurses and nurse practitioners to complete a survey about their interactions with military veterans.

This study is being conducted by Gina Maiocco, Ph.D. (primary investigator), and Billie Murray from WVU School of Nursing and Anthea Rhoades and Lya Stroupe from WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital.

The goal is to identify how nurses and nurse practitioners at a non-VA community facility are providing care to those who have served in the military, and to have nurses and nurse practitioners describe challenges they have faced in providing care to that population. The survey contains questions about caring for those who have served and some demographics. It will take approximately 10 minutes to fill out the questionnaire.

More details about the survey are available here.
