OEHS student co-authors article in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report

Cara Halldin, a graduate student in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences and NIOSH employee, contributed to research that was recently published in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. The article looked at the "Resurgence of Progressive Massive Fibrosis in Coal Miners - Eastern Kentucky, 2016." NPR's "All Things Considered" featured an interview with senior author and NIOSH epidemiologist Scott Laney on the same topic.
