Pangilinan Lecture to focus on vision health and volunteerism

Denise Godin, R.N., will deliver the 2015 Dr. Rizal Pangilinan Lecture at 3 p.m. Friday, July 24, in the WVU Eye Institute Pangilinan Lecture Hall. The lecture is open to the public. Those planning to attend should RSVP by Wednesday, July 22, to ebertk@wvuhealthcare.com, or call 304-598-4861.

Godin is the Low Vision Focal Person for the Caribbean Council for the Blind. She also serves as the Eye Health Officer for the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association. Her lecture will focus on St. Lucia projects specific to vision health and the impact volunteerism has on this underserved area of the Caribbean islands.
