Patient being monitored for conditions associated with MERS in IPCU

A patient with a recent travel history outside the country is being seen in the Emergency Department. While there is no concern for Ebola, the patient is being monitored for conditions associated with MERS. Out of an abundance of caution, the patient is being placed in the IPCU (Infection Protection and Containment Unit) to assure strict adherence with both airborne and contact isolation.
