Payroll office relocates to Operations Support Center

The Payroll Department will move from the fourth floor of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital to the the third floor of the WVU Medicine Operations Support Center (3040 University Ave.) on Monday, April 2.

As a result of the office relocation, the practice of distributing paper checks on payday will end in May.

During a transition period in April for the pay dates of April 13 and April 27, Payroll will continue to distribute the paper checks from the former Payroll office in Ruby from 7-9 a.m. Checks that are not picked up will be mailed that day.

Beginning with the May 11 pay date, paper checks will be mailed from the Operations Support Center to employees’ homes the Wednesday prior to the Friday pay date.

In order to avoid any delays in receiving a paper check through the U.S. Postal Service, employees are urged to sign up for direct deposit or a pay card prior to May 11.
