The WVU School of Nursing and WVU Medicine celebratee National Nurses Week by hosting a Nurses Week Carnival at the Erickson Alumni Center today (May 11).
The carnival included prizes, games, food and special appearances by the Mountaineer; Cooper, the Black Bears mascot; and WVU Medicine’s Monti Bear. Attendees were also able to enjoy free chair massages, have their picture taken with a colleague at the photo booth, and purchase items from nearly 20 local vendors. WVU Medicine chaplains provided the Blessing of the Hands - a unique tradition often affiliated with Nurses Week.
