Pulmonary Function Lab, Respiratory Care Administration, Rehabilitation Services have moved to Ruby's second floor

The Pulmonary Function Lab and Respiratory Care Administration have moved to 2 East above Starbucks, while Rehabilitation Services has moved to 2 West.

The Respiratory Care staff is temporarily located on 5 West with plans to move to 2 East later this year.

The blood gas lab will remain in its current location on 5 West.

Rebabilitation Services' new home includes inpatient physical therapy, inpatient occupational therapy, inpatient and outpatient speech and swallow therapy, inpatient massage therapy and outpatient lymphedema therapy. It features a rehabilitation gym with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) kitchen and bathroom, outpatient treatment suites, a whirlpool/wet room, administrative offices, equipment rooms, staff work rooms, reception and waiting area, and a staff break room.

In addition to its new space, Rehabilitation Services will continue to operate a rehabilitation gym on 7 Northeast; it will be dedicated to patients being cared for at the WVU Center for Joint Replacement.

Rehabilitation Services plans to have an open house in the near future but staff who would like to see the new area can stop by or contact Bruce McKee, director. The main number for the department is extension 74118.
