Pumpkin contest winners announced

A pumpkin from Heart and Vascular Institute (vascular) called "Show Me Your Teeth!" was the overall and carved winner in a pumpkin-decorating contest held Oct. 31 at the Ruby Cafeteria.

The top three finishers in the decorated pumpkin category were:

  • Neurology - "Owl Capone"
  • Peds Specialties - "Gum Ball"
  • HVI (vascular) - "President Donald Trumpkin"

Participants dropped off pumpkins to the Ruby Cafeteria and employees voted on their favorite by purchasing tickets. All proceeds from ticket sales benefited WVU Medicine's Rosenbaum Family House.

The prizes were: first place, pizza party; second place, $25 Walmart gift card; and third place, ENJOY coupon book.
